Eliud Garza

Eliud Garza, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on February 21, 1940, to Geronimo Garza Saavedra and Maria Del Refugio Hernandez Prieto, Eliud lived a life rich in dedication, love, and hard work.

Eliud was married for 60 years to the love of his life, Delia Garza. Together, they built a beautiful family and a lifetime of memories filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.

He is survived by his children: Jose Eliud Garza (Angelica), Nancy Delia Garza (Sergio), Elva Nelly Flores (Jesus Manuel), Eduardo Gabino Garza (Janeth), Jorge Geronimo Garza (Amanda), Zulema Luna (Edgar), and Osvaldo Garza (Monica).

Eliud was a proud grandfather to Jamie, Lindsey, Chuyito, Haylin, Osvaldito, Natalie, Gabby, Jackie, Gael, Meloney, Edsel, Valeria, and Isabelle, and a loving great-grandfather to Leonardito and Layla.

A true jack-of-all-trades, Eliud had a remarkable talent for working with his hands—whether it was carpentry, mechanics, or tackling projects around the house. He especially enjoyed fishing, often finding peace and joy by the water. Always on the move, he was never one to sit idle and took pride in staying busy. Generous with his time and skills, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. Above all, Eliud loved his family fiercely and found his greatest joy and pride in his children and grandchildren.

Eliud’s legacy of hard work, devotion, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
