Hello Jefe, I'm here writing to you at around 2 am. I was just having a dream, we were parked in a truck stop in Canada. And you were showing me on the World Atlas map the next route on the Alaskan highway. And all I saw was a two lane road and it seemed like it entered a dark mountainous forest. It was the beginning of the Alaskan highway, to me it looked scary. But as we entered the forest it was like another world. Thanks for those dreams, I loved that you included me in a great adventure. Your son Joaquin Ernesto Heredia who missed you and love you very much. Sweet dreams Apa.

From the jungles of Belize to the wilds of Alaska, my father defined what it meant to be a man in full.  He was noble, rugged, tender...a romantic in every sense of the word.  On our long road trips to visit family, we'd listen to the requintos of a bolero and immediately everything was right in the world.  This was home for me!  I, along with  my brothers and sisters, never once doubted that my father could do anything - literally! He built his own house, fixed his own cars, fed and raised his own family, and left little doubt where you stood with him: he loved us.

Yo le quiero dar las gracias a mi papa y toda la familia por darme la opportunidad de ser un Heredia.  Sin el you no estubiera en los Estado Unidos.  Gracias por ensenarle a sus hijos como aceptarme come un hermano.  Muchas gracias a mi papa por darme una bendicion y ensenarme como amar, respetar, trabajar y muchas cosas mas.  Estoy eternamente agradesido por ser parte de esta maravillosa familia Heredia.  Nunca lo olvidaremos en las forma en que el era tan lindo, respetuoso, amable, trabajador, y un poquito de todo.  Lo estranaremos much pero nunca lo olvidaremos y siempre estara un nuestros corazones.

I don't know how to start their are many ways to start..I always loved you with all my heart...God made you with all he could you had dreams come true having sons and daughters....Without you Grandpa nobody would of been here all of your son loved you very much.....Grandpa I will keep your legacy by Ernesto's......It was time for your sole to go to heaven an live forever.......Farewell grandpa remember your family will always  love you and never forget you

Hello caritas I love you big   time... I know you live in a perfect world and are getting to know the other Heredias. Because I know you always had so much faith and you are in his kingdom. Damm do I miss and love you so much. Te quiero caritas and you will always be in our hearts. I terribly miss you.. my love your son.

I love you Grandpa the memories we had will forever be engrained In my heart...I always wanted to make you proud of me...I know you were...I hope one day too see you again and hug you and I can just see you now squeezing my nose and cheeks just the way you did when I was a kid. Til we meet again I love you forever and always!!

Dearest Dad,  You taught me empathy, compassion, and to never give up.  Your passion for life was endless.  You were a dreamer who realized his dreams.  You taught me to appreciate nature, and the simple things in life.  And, because of that I am eternally grateful for you!  Your legacy will live on through our children, and their children.  You will live in our hearts forever...

Didn't know him as much. But as part of the family I loved him very much.. I also thank him because he created my father and my father is just like him. Very nice,courteous,respectful,and a very loveable person.....I won't say bye grandpa I'll see u soon.

To my father which I miss so much, I have great memories on our trip to Alaska and Canada. And because of his experience and willpower he found us a job on the Alaskan Highway. I have wonderful memories we were able to see the midnight sun and northern lights. And I'm proud to say two Heredia's worked on the Alaskan Highway and now one is gone. I miss you so much Apa, your son Joaquin E. Heredia. I love you very much.
