McALLEN - Esperanza Rodriguez, 84, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Esperanza was born March 28, 1929 to Teodoro Araiza and Maria Felix Calderon in Monterrey N.L., Mexico. Esperanza is survived by her loving children; San Juana, Maria Bertha, Norberto, Jose Luis, Rogelio and Yesenia Rodriguez. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; his sisters, Olivia, Rosa, Guadalupe Araiza and brother Reyes Araiza. Family will receive friends today, June 20, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission. Funeral service will be held Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel in Mission. Interment will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel in Mission, a Dignity Memorial Provider/ 3611 N. Taylor RD in Mission.
