

Francisco Marin, 86, of Mission Texas passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025 surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 23, 1938 in Los Aldamas Nuevo León, Mexico, Francisco lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication.
Francisco was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jesusita Marin, with whom he shared many cherish memories. Together they raise four children: Maribel (Jose) Alvarado, Maricruz (Gilbert III) Garza, Frank Marin Jr., and Mercedes (Cesar) Suarez.
A devoted grandfather and great grandfather, Francisco‘s Legacy continues through his six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Francisco had a passion for the simple pleasures of life. He took immense pride in maintaining his lawn and caring for his potted plants, creating a beautiful, welcoming space for his family. A lover of music and dance he enjoyed listening to corridos and dancing. He was also an avid baseball fan, always ready to share his enthusiasm for the game and cheering on the Houston Astros.
Known for his quick wit and playful sense of humor, Francisco was a true jokester. He had a knack for making those around him smile with his clever comments and lighthearted spirit. He especially loved bantering with his sons-in-law, engaging in playful exchanges.
Francisco‘s life was a testament to hard work, love for family, and the importance of savoring life’s moments. His kind heart, vibrant spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed, but lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Francisco. You will forever remain in our hearts.
