Ina Gwendolyn Rogers

Ina Gwendolyn Rogers was born on October 23,1940 in San Antonio TX to parents Clyde and Ada Rogers.

Ina is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Cheryl Herbert.

She is survived by her children, Lonnie King (John), Jim King (Lorena) and Denise Parker; grandchildren, Jimmy Jr, Breanna, John, Melissa (Caleb), Adam (Jessica), Crystal (Will) and David; great grandchildren, DoNathan, Liam, Aidan, Ethan, Noah, Elizabeth, Caleb, Owen, Ryan, Lily, Chase, Kyle, Malekhi, Geanna, Jimmy III, Athaliah and Zuko.

Ina, as a single mother raised four incredible children. She was employed as a Walmart cashier for over 15 years where she met and impacted the lives of many. She was an incredibly kind person who greeted everyone with a smile. No one was a stranger to Ina. She always found the good in people. Ina was very passionate about animals and above all loved her feline friends! She enjoyed sitting on her recliner near the window watching the squirrels and cats play outside. Ina loved spending time with her family. She was a devoted grandmother who instilled the love of God and his word in each of them.

Ina was deeply spiritual, devoted, and compassionate. She sought to live according to her faith’s principle and show kindness and understanding towards others through the word of God.

We ask that any flowers be sent directly to the church on Friday, November 1st, between the times of 3:30 and 4pm.
