Jack proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. Following his military service, he built a successful career as a lumber salesman, dedicating more than 45 years to the industry. He was a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
Outside of work, Jack found great joy on the golf course and never missed an opportunity to enjoy classic western cowboy movies. A man of faith, Jack faithfully attended church on weekends and lived his life guided by kindness, humility, and devotion to his family. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He is survived with deep sorrow by his wife, Perla W. Moran; three children, Malinda Lynne Moran Sheldon, Billy K. Martin, Christensen Martin; two grandchildren, Erin Nicole Sheldon, Kenny B. Sheldon; many more family and friends.
Jack is reunited in heaven with his parents, Ethel June and Curtis Haskell Moran.
