Jesus Salas Jr

With deep love and sorrow, the family of Jesus Salas Jr. announces his passing on November 11, 2025, at the age of 67. Jesus was born on June 3, 1958, in Edinburg, Texas, to Jesus Salas Sr. and Señorina Garcia.

Jesus will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 35 years, Maria del Carmen Salas, and their children: Julian Salas, Jesse Salas III, and Jeffery Joel Salas. He was a proud and joyful grandfather to Elliot Silviano Salas and Caroline Maria Salas, who brought great happiness and pride to his life.

He is also survived by his beloved mother, Señorina Garcia, and his siblings: Hilda Flores, Delia Esparza, Yolanda Laurel, Anna Maria Salas, Irma Salas, Alberto Salas, and Juan Salas. He is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Salas Sr., his sister Juanita Salas, and his grandparents, Maclovio Salas, Maria Guzman, Tiburico Garcia, and Enriqua Acevedo.

Jesus was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved hunting deer, barbecuing, riding his Harley motorcycle, and spending time horseback riding or working on tractors. He had a passion for collecting knives, hats, and caps, and he enjoyed relaxing with a good movie or oldies music playing in the background. Most of all, Jesus cherished time spent with his family and friends, especially sitting around a fire at night, sharing stories and laughter.

Those who knew Jesus will remember him for his warm heart, his love of the outdoors, and his easygoing spirit. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those around him, and his memory will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
