He is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Consuelo De La Cruz; Children, Jeseph De La Cruz, Yolanda Guerra (Luis), Aracelia Gonzalez (Ramiro), Hector De La Cruz, Jesus De La Cruz, Consuelo Rodriguez (Raymond), and Norma Samora (Daniel). Mr. De La Cruz also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Jose was a long time McAllen resident and business owner. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed the good life with no regrets and will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 4-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary, at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission, TX. Funeral services will be Friday, August 21, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel in Mission. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.
