Jose Santos Quintanilla Solis

Jose Santos Quintanilla Solis, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, just days before his 78th birthday. Born on October 31, 1947, to Jose Santos Quintanilla and Marianela Solis, Jose lived a life defined by strength, generosity, and unwavering love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 60 years, Estefana Quintanilla, with whom he built a beautiful legacy of love, hard work, and family.

Santos is survived by his children: Letty Quintanilla, Juany (Lupito) Anaya, Dora (Oscar) Gonzalez, Irma (Rodolfo) Leal, Mayra (Abraham) Perez, Edgar (Brenda) Quintanilla, and J. Santos Jr. (Sanjuanita) Quintanilla. He leaves behind 20 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 7 siblings, all of whom will forever cherish his memory.

A man who feared nothing, Jose was known for his relentless work ethic and his love of the great outdoors. He found joy in deer hunting, sharing meals with loved ones, and lending a hand to anyone in need. He was a provider in every sense of the word—a strong father, a loyal husband, and a steady pillar of his family.

Santos lived fully, laughed often, and loved deeply. He will be remembered for his big heart, generous spirit, and the countless lives he touched through his kindness and strength.

His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the honor of knowing him.
