With profound love and deep sorrow, the family of Juan Amaya Adame announces his peaceful passing on November 22, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on June 24, 1930, to his devoted parents Federico and Josefina Amaya, Juan grew into a man whose life reflected strength, and an unwavering dedication to the people he loved.
Juan shared 75 beautiful years of marriage with the love of his life, San Juana Amaya, a bond that stood as an enduring example of commitment, partnership, and affection. Together they built a large and loving family that became Juan’s greatest pride and joy.
He is lovingly remembered by his children: Ricardo Amaya (Alma), Rosa Bays (Avengelous), Federico Amaya, Nora Davis (Daniel), Norma Hinojosa (Jerry), Juan Carlos Amaya, Gerardo Amaya (Lisa), Raul Amaya (Letty), Patricia Martinez, Marisol Amaya, and Cruz Adelita Amaya (Javier).
He also leaves behind 35 grandchildren, countless great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Juan was a man who found happiness in life’s simple blessings. A true outdoorsman, he loved spending time under the open sky, whether tending to his garden—proudly growing fresh vegetables—or caring for his beloved chickens, cats, and dogs. He was industrious and resourceful, a natural handyman with the remarkable ability to fix nearly anything. His strong work ethic was matched only by his generosity; he never hesitated to lend a helping hand.
A lifelong early riser, Juan cherished the quiet calm of the morning, often beginning his days with a warm cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast. These small routines reflected his appreciation for the gentle rhythms of life. Above all, Juan loved his family deeply and unconditionally. His wisdom, patience, and kindness created a foundation that continues to support and guide his family today.
Juan’s legacy lives on in the values he instilled, the stories he shared, and the countless moments of love he gave freely. His memory will forever remain a blessing to all who knew him.
May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the light and love he brought into this world.
