

He was preceded in death by Carlos Zuniga, Apolonia Lazaran, Gabino Zuniga, Maria de Jesus Flores, Jose Zuniga, Esperanza Martinez, Margarita Zamora, Maura Campos Zuniga, Guadalupe Zuniga and Alberto Zuniga.
Surviving him are his nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own children; Juan Zuniga, Leonor Rangel, Santiago Zuniga, Regino Zuniga, Gilberto Zuniga, Gilberto Zuniga, Sylvia Villasana, Carlos Zuniga, Alejandro Zuniga, Gabriel Zuniga, Francisca Zuniga, Virginia Zuniga, Juan Zuniga, Maria Zuniga, Flor Zuniga, Maria Costales, Raul Zamora, Manuel Zamora, Javier Zamora, Juana Chavez, Norma Moreno, Jaime Zamora, Graciela Salinas, Patricia Zamora, Araceli Zamora, Arnoldo Martinez, Olivia Moreno, Armando Martinez, Oralia Martinez, Hilda Serrano, Elizabeth Lopez; and by multiple grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was a well known tailor in his community in El Rialito, Tamps.
Juan loved being around his family and found joy in his crafts, such as embroidering his hand sewn pillowcases and creating custom kitchen towels. When he wasn't attached to his sewing machine he spent his time attending to his garden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 5:00 pm and a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Funeraria Del Angel at 9:00 am. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
