Juan T. Vela

Juan J. Vela 61 was born on September 11, 1950, and went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 20, 2011. After a brave series of battles with his health, Juan passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents Calixto L. Vela and Maria M. Vela, Brother, Eduardo Vela.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Rosita A. Vela, Sons; Juan J. Vela Jr (Kelly H. Vela), Ricardo Vela (Mara Bravo), Lorenzo Vela (Graciela A. Vela), Mauricio Vela (Janie Ramos) and Daniel Vela (Bilma Muñoz). Daughters; Monica Vela, Norma Jean De Leon (Luis M De Leon), Rosalinda Vela and Veronica Zavala (Andres Zavala). Twenty -Five grandchildren and four great-grand children. Five sisters Guadalupe Canizalez, Ernestina Vela, Gertrudes Vela, Maria M. Vela, Francisca Confer and Ramona Vela. He will be greatly missed by many.

Visitation will be held Sunday October 23, 2011 at Funeraria Del Angel 3611 N. Taylor Rd in Mission, Texas from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday October 24 at 10:00 a.m. at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, Texas. Pallbearers, Juan J.
