Manuel Reyes Fuentes

He met the love of his life, Elizabeth Rayo, in Elizabeth, New Jersey and they were married in 1976. They had three boys, Samuel, Pablo Andres, and Alejandro. “Manny” as he was affectionately known by his friends and family, began working for Bert Ogden Motors in 1985 as a car salesman and would go on to serve as a General Sales Manager and then General Manager of Bert Ogden Cadillac in Mission until his retirement in 2020, distinguishing himself throughout the industry and gaining recognition throughout the

RGV and beyond as a top name in the car business during his 35 years with the company. His radiant smile and affable personality along with his trademark wit and charm made him unforgettable to all who had the pleasure of meeting him. His love for his wife and children drove him to succeed and provide the kind of life for them that he did not have growing up in the Dominican Republic. His love and support for his family was key to all three of his sons becoming successful professionals and business owners, now with families of their own.

He is preceded in death by his father Manuel Reyes, mother, Mercedes Fuentes Reyes, brother Luis Reyes, sister Kenida Aguirre.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Elizabeth and their children, along with his son James Alex Reyes, his brothers Pedro Reyes and Carlos Reyes and his sisters Milagros Olguin and Inelda Wahl and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

His family adored him with all their hearts and will forever cherish the memory of Manny, a loving husband and father, a pure heart, and a beautiful soul.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel, with the Memorial Service at 7:00 pm.

Manuel Reyes nació el 4 de enero de 1940 en Hato Mayor Del Rey, República Dominicana. Llegó a los Estados Unidos con otros miembros de su familia en 1961 en busca de una vida mejor.

Conoció al amor de su vida, Elizabeth Rayo, en Elizabeth, Nueva Jersey y se casaron en 1976. Tuvieron tres hijos, Samuel, Pablo Andrés y Alejandro. "Manny", como lo conocían cariñosamente sus amigos y familiares, comenzó a trabajar para Bert Ogden Motors en 1985 como vendedor de automóviles y luego se desempeñaría como Gerente General de Ventas y luego Gerente General de Bert Ogden Cadillac en Mission hasta su jubilación. en 2020, distinguiéndose en la industria y ganando reconocimiento en todo el RGV y más allá como un nombre destacado en el negocio del automóvil durante sus 35 años en la empresa. Su sonrisa radiante y su personalidad afable junto con su ingenio y encanto característicos lo hicieron inolvidable para todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerlo. Su amor por su esposa e hijos lo llevó a tener éxito y brindarles el tipo de vida que no tuvo al crecer en la República Dominicana. Su amor y apoyo por su familia fue clave para que sus tres hijos se convirtieran en profesionales exitosos y dueños de negocios, ahora con sus propias familias.

Le anteceden en la muerte su padre Manuel Reyes, madre, Mercedes Fuentes Reyes, hermano Luis Reyes, hermana Kenida Aguirre.

Deja atrás a su amada esposa Elizabeth y a sus hijos, junto a su hijo James Alex Reyes, sus hermanos Pedro Reyes y Carlos Reyes y sus hermanas Milagros Olguin e Inelda Wahl y muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y nietos.

Su familia lo adoraba con todo su corazón y siempre apreciará el recuerdo de Manny, un esposo y padre amoroso, un corazón puro y un alma hermosa.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el lunes 9 de agosto de 2021 de 5:00 pm a 9:00 pm en Funeraria Del Angel, con el servicio conmemorativo a las 7:00 pm.
