My dear Aunt Maco,
I will always remember you with the fondest memories and a heart full of love.  My memories of you and your love for us goes all the way back as far as I can remember, to the days at Grandma’s, you and Uncle Rolando, the times you took us to Reynosa, the family, the food, the fun! The nights spent at your house as kids, the stories you told us! Your cooking, your caring, your laughter. Most of all, my kind and loving aunt. I will always love and miss you. 😘💕

Margot the kids and I will never forget your sense of humor and your infectious laugh.

My best memories are the family reunions when we sat around visiting and reminiscing about their childhood. Oh my goodness the stories and the laughter, good old family fun. There’s one story Margot loved sharing of her and David’s candy bar—the candy bar that David would not share with her (David is my late husband, her brother). The story keeps getting funnier every time I hear it. David had a candy bar, and Margot wanted his candy bar, David refused to give her any part of his candy bar, because she was so cute people gave her anything she wanted.  The story goes; David popped the whole candy bar in this mouth. Their mom thought David was going to choke on the candy bar; because his mouth was moving in different directions she said it was so animated it was funny and scary, but David managed to eat the whole candy bar without sharing it with her.  Both are in heaven now laughing, about the laughter they brought to everyone who heard “the candy bar story.”

Of course, no one can adequately express the love a parent feels for her children, as Margot did; she loved all of her kids.

Rolando, Rolando Jr,  Armando, Orlando, Rosie, and Sonja, I know your mom loved you very much.  I know you miss her beyond comprehension and I pray God makes every day just a little easier for you to get through. Margot it was a privilege to know you and call you my sister-in-law. You will be greatly missed.
