Maria de Jesus Cantu

Maria de Jesus Cantu, age 93, of McAllen, Texas passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023. Maria is survived by her son Jesus Cantu Cantu (Maria Elena); her son Miguel Angel Cantu (Elda); her son Jose Manuel Cantu (Eva Alicia); her son Roberto Cantu (Diana); her son Carlos Cantu (Mina); and her son Manuel Cantu (Mirthala). Maria was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Cantu; her son Reynaldo Cantu (Olivia) and her son Baldemar Cantu (Maria Guadalupe); her father Paulo Elizondo and her mother Maria Reyna. Mrs. Cantu leaves 1 sister, 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren to cherish her memory. A visitation for Maria will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and a prayer service at 7:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission, TX. A Chapel Service will occur Friday, January 20, 2023 at 12:00 PM, at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission, TX., and a burial to follow at 1:00 PM at Valley Memorial Gardens, Mission, TX.
