Maria Cruz Cantu de Lozano was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and caring great-grandmother whose beautiful presence brought warmth, creativity, and love to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was born to Teodulo Cantu Tijerina and Simona Marfil, who preceded her in death, along with her beloved brother, Teodulo Cantu Marfil.
Maria shared 54 beautiful years of marriage with the love of her life, Marco Antonio Lozano Oviedo. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, memories, and countless moments that will forever be treasured. Their 54 years together were a testament to a love that endured through every season of life.
Maria was the proud and loving mother of Cesar Antonio Lozano (Ascenette), Maria Arabela Lozano – Mejia (Heriberto), Sandra Maria Lozano – Garcia (Nelson), and Fabiola Gonzalez (Luis). Her children were one of the greatest joys of her life, and she gave them a mother's love that was unconditional, selfless, and everlasting. To her family, Maria truly was the best mom ever—the person they could always turn to for love, comfort, guidance, and encouragement.
Her love continued through her grandchildren: Arabela, Cesar Jr., Kayla, Natalie, Brandon, Priscilla, Kassandra, Diego, Andres, and Isabela, step grandchildren: Angel, Ruben, Heriberto, as well as her six great-grandchildren. Maria treasured every moment she was able to spend with them. She found happiness in watching them grow, sharing stories and laughter, and creating memories that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Maria also leaves behind her beloved siblings, Maricela A. Cantu de Rios and Sara Martinez, who will forever cherish the beautiful memories they shared with their dear sister. Her love and presence will remain in their hearts, a treasured part of the family she loved so deeply.
Maria was a woman with a creative and loving spirit. She enjoyed crocheting, crafting, sewing, and making beautiful jewelry. Whether she was creating something with her hands or simply spending time surrounded by the people she loved, Maria had a special way of putting love into everything she did.
