Maria A. Escamilla

We share the passing of our beloved mother, Maria A. Escamilla, who left this journey we call life on Friday, January 17, 2025. We take comfort in knowing she has now entered into the embrace of our Heavenly Father.

She is survived by her son, Eduardo; her daughter, Aida; her siblings, Ramiro and Olga; her grandchildren Ana, Abel Manuel, Andrew, and Ellie; and her great-grandson Timothy, along with many other loving family members.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Friday, January 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Del Angel Funeral Home in Mission, TX. A prayer service will be held on Friday, January 24, at 1:00 PM, followed by a burial at 3:00 PM at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, TX.

Maria had a strong devotion to God, and she shared her faith, kindness, and love with everyone who knew her. She saw the goodness in all things and found joy in even the simplest moments. She was a woman of great strength, with a beautiful and caring heart. Her attentive nature and unselfish heart touched everyone she met.

In remembrance of her, we would like to share a verse from her favorite scripture, Psalms 4:5:

"Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.”
