Chelo had a great love for cooking. She owned and operated a Mexican restaurant and served her delicious dishes for over 30 years. Chelo enjoyed talking and visiting with others. She enjoyed traveling to visit her son and his family in Houston whenever possible. Most of all she enjoyed dancing!
Chelo was a loving mother, sister and daughter. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria del Refugio Garcia Reyes, her brother Jose Javier Garcia, two sisters in law Josie Ramon Garcia and Rafaela Mendez Garcia and daughter in law Diana Gonzalez Riley. Chelo is survived by her two sons Richard (Leticia) and Michael Riley; grandchildren, Simon, Caitlin, Elisa and Aidan Riley. She is also survived by her loving brothers and sister Anita Bueno, Margarito Garcia, and Benito Garcia. Chelo also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
