With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Maria M. Gutierrez, who entered eternal rest on October 2, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on July 28, 1950, Maria lived a life full of quiet grace, warmth, and unwavering devotion to those she loved.
Maria’s life was a beautiful reflection of kindness and simplicity. She found joy in the small, meaningful moments—tending to her garden, nurturing every bloom with care, and, most of all, spending time with her beloved family and friends. Her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by her siblings, nephews, and nieces, who knew her as a loving, steady presence and a source of endless affection and support.
She was the cherished sister of Jose E. Gutierrez (Angelita), Arnulfo Gutierrez † (Rosie), Severiano Gutierrez (Juanita), Artemio Gutierrez (Elisa), Leticia Rodriguez (Raul), Aurelio Gutierrez (Elda), Adalberto Gutierrez (Yvonne), whose memories she held close to her heart.
Maria’s gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. Whether through a warm smile, a caring word, or a lovingly prepared meal, she gave of herself fully and without hesitation. Her garden was her sanctuary, but her heart belonged to her family and friends—always present, always listening, always loving.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all who shared Maria’s life and supported her through her final days. A heartfelt thank you to Casa Mia Hospice and WellMed staff for the compassion and care shown to Maria and her loved ones during this time.
Maria M. Gutierrez leaves behind a legacy of love, humility, and selfless devotion. Though she is no longer with us in body, the beauty she brought into the world lives on in the hearts of those who loved her.
She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
