

Maria Del Refugio Jasso, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 26, 1948, to Amado Jasso Sr. and Margarita Arrazolo, whose love and guidance shaped the strong and compassionate woman she became.
Maria’s life was a beautiful reflection of devotion, kindness, and strength. She was a proud and loving mother to Marisol Campos, Mara Campos (Eduardo Cano), and Candida Campos (Alejandro Mendez). Her siblings Griselda Alamia(✝), Amado Jasso Jr., Jose Jaime Jasso, Guadalupe Guerra. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into nurturing and supporting them through every chapter of their lives.
She was blessed with many grandchildren who brought endless light and laughter to her days: S. Joseph Solis, Joshua D. Solis, Mateo V. Solis, Christa A. Mendez, Amanda T. Mendez, Isiah D. Mendez, Mikayla J. Larrazolo, Giovanna D. Trevino, Robert T. Garcia, and Edward L. Cano. Her legacy continues to flourish through her great-grandchildren: Travis J. Trevino, Emmery J. Trevino, Leanna Solis, Lovette Solis, and Isabella Solis.
Maria had a gentle spirit and a creative heart. She found great joy in sewing, reading—especially history, mystery novels, and the Bible—and baking for her family. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and love, filled with the comforting aromas of her baking and homemade meals and the sound of laughter from those she cherished most.
Her faith, compassion, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her. Maria’s legacy lives on through her family, who will continue to honor her memory with the same strength, faith, and love that she exemplified throughout her life.
May she rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of those who went before her.
