Maria Yolanda "Yoli" Sarmiento entered eternal rest on August 18, 2026, surrounded by family.

Born on June 26, 1954, in McAllen, TX to Alfredo and Hermila Garcia.

She is survived with deep sorrow by her husband, Oscar Sarmiento; two sons, Oscar Jr. (Alma Briones) Sarmiento, Jesse (Alicia) Sarmiento; two granddaughters, Bethany Sarmiento, Sophia Sarmiento; three sisters, seven brothers; many more family and friends.

Yolanda is reunited in heaven with her parents, Alfredo and Hermila Garcia.

A viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 5pm to 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Funeral Service will be at El Buen Pastor Church on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at 10am followed by burial at Valley Memorial Gardens.
