He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Daniel Castillo and his siblings, Adolfo Castillo, Esteban Castillo, Carmen Miranda, and Diamantina Castillo.
Mauro is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Alicia A. Castillo; son, David Castillo and his wife Francis; grandchildren, Alisha D. Castillo, Daniel D. Castillo, Mark A. Castillo, Alyssa M. Castillo and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 3:00pm to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel of Serenity.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 2:00pm at Iglesia El Divino Redentor, 2421 W Maple Ave, McAllen, TX 78501. Burial to follow at Valley Memorial Gardens.
