Mauro Chapa, 91, entered eternal rest on November 24, 2020 at McAllen Heart Hospital.
He is survived by his wife Lydia Chapa; his children Lucia Elizabeth Macias(Jose G.), Jose M. Chapa(Alma D.), Rosa Gonzalez(Oscar), Noe Chapa(Janie), Lydia Martinez, Juan C. Chapa and Amy Chavarria(Manuel). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Our Lady Queen of Angels in La Joya at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission.
