Norma was born in McAllen, Texas, on April 15, 1958, to Marcelo and Josefa Arenas. She graduated from McAllen High School in 1977. Norma dedicated over 30 years of her life working for Former Youth. In 2012, she continued her education at STVT, where she graduated with her Pharmacy Technician certification. She later worked for the United States Postal Service for more than 10 years.
Norma was a devoted sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. She had a special place in her heart for her niece and goddaughter, Nicollette, and her nephew and godson, Ricky, whom she loved dearly and enjoyed spoiling. She was also a loving aunt to Ricardo and Kimberly and a wonderful friend to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Norma enjoyed traveling, dancing, and shopping, but most of all, she cherished the time she spent with the people she loved. Her kindness, laughter, generosity, and loving spirit touched the lives of many and created memories that will be treasured forever.
Heaven gained another beautiful angel to watch over us. Though you may no longer be here with us, your love, memories, and presence will forever remain in our hearts. Your beautiful spirit will live on through everyone who loved you.
Until we meet again, Norma, rest peacefully. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
