He is preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Marina; sister, Marina Saldaña and his brother, Ruben Garza.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Olga S. Garza; children, Dianna (Roland) Vega, Cynthia (Adolfo) Lopez, Marina Garza, Oscar A. Garza Jr.; grandchildren, Ashley Nicole “Nikki” Vega, Amanda Laraine Vega, Marco Roland Vega, Sophia Rene Lopez, Noah Adan Lopez, Oscar Adan Garza III; sister, Aida Guerra; brother in law, Ernesto Saldaña; sister in law, Vicky Garza and numerous extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 31, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel of Mission, with the Rosary at 7:00 pm.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 11:30 am at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 900 S 23rd St McAllen, TX 78501, with the burial to follow at 1:00 pm at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
