Born on September 22nd 1938 in Mission,Texas to Alfredo and Águeda Garcia, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lidia Garcia, siblings Juan Garcia, Jorge Garcia, and Manuela Mireles.
A soft spoken man of strong faith and grace, Ramiro offered counsel with much patience and humor influencing and touching the lives of many. After miraculously surviving a heart attack in 1986, he was given 5 years of life expectancy. When he surpassed that, he made sure to live his best life and enriched the lives of those around him. His cheerful attitude and bright smile will be missed.
Ramiro is survived by his 4 children Silvia Cantu (Luis Cantu), Samuel Garcia, Cynthia Garcia (Omar Garcia), Ramiro García Jr (Rose Garcia), his brothers Alfonso Garcia, Lupito Garcia and sister Irma Garcia. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren that were all able to enjoy the lessons he had to teach.
Funeral services will be held at Del Angel Funeral home in Mission Texas on Monday September 20th with public viewing between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. where Ramiro will be honored at 7 p.m.
A viewing on Tuesday September 21st between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. with burial services at 2 p.m. He will be laid to rest at 3 p.m. at Valley Memorial Gardens, Mission Texas.
