Raul, I wish we could've kept in touch. I remember when we used to hang out and played football in Jr. High, Lamar Boxers.

Having been the first (2) guys hired for a new job Irving in 2010, I can remember lamenting to Raul that I couldn't find chorizo in the small Tx. town I had moved to after living my whole life in Los Angeles.  The next day he showed up with (2) rolls of chorizo and some great small round chili peppers he had grown in his backyard. I knew then that I had made a great friend.  Rest in peace my friend.

We are all deeply shocked to hear of the sudden death of Raul,we would like to offer our deepest sympathy.

I've will always have fond memories of Raul.  He was never at a loss for stories.  He was always willing to share his life experienace along with the latest breaking news with those around him.  I can remember times when we would meet at Mom and Dads house and Raul talk about his latest car project or latest horse races.  He taught me how to make sense of the complicated statistics you can find at the horse track pamphlets.  As the one of family's elders, Raul will be greatly missed.

Raul expressed himself at the expense of others frequently, if someone did a task incorrectly, his response was " It happens to the best of yall" suggesting it was wrong,done in error. I am thankful for having known,and working with him,may god bless his soul. Ruben Rocha
