He is preceded in death by his wife Juanita T. Silva; his grandson David Vela, his granddaughter Sierra Silva and by nine siblings.
He is survived by his children Elvia Guerrero(Ricardo), Leonel Silva, Eliud Silva(Aurelia), Dora E. Vela, S. Zulema Bewley(Mark), Leo Silva and Arnold Silva(Anita); 24 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; and by his brother Jacinto Silva.
Serving as pallbearers are his grandsons Rick Guerrero, Jr., Hector Silva, Eliud Silva, Jr., Ricardo Vela, Jr., Benjamin Bewley, Caleb Silva, and A. J. Silva (Honorary).
Visitation was held yesterday, January 4, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission, Texas from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held today, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel of Mission.
