Ricky Sanchez

Ricky Sanchez, of Mission, Texas, departed this earthly life on Sunday, October 11, 2026, to be reunited with his Lord and Savior. A lifelong resident of Mission, Ricky had a special love for his hometown. He took pride in knowing its streets, its people, and the community he called home throughout his life.

Ricky was a man of honor, faith, and extraordinary love for others. He had a rare and beautiful way of making people feel welcomed and valued. His warm, inviting smile and genuine personality drew people toward him, and his kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. Ricky was the kind of person who could brighten a room simply by being in it. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and joy, and his love for others was evident in the way he treated everyone he met.

Ricky will be remembered for the love he gave so freely and the special place he held in the hearts of his family and friends. His nieces and nephews were especially blessed by his affectionate, playful, and spoiling ways. Ricky is survived by his beloved wife of 10 years, **Nelissa Flores Sanchez**; his father, **Mr. Felix Sanchez**; three brothers, **Felix Sanchez Jr., Jaime Sanchez (Rachel), and David Sanchez (Vanessa)**. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews, Madison Kate, Micah James, Jaime Daniel, Anthony Sanchez, Mariah Gonzalez-Infante, Anthony Gonzalez, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, warmth, and generous spirit.

He is preceded in death by his loving mother, **Mrs. Ernestina Sanchez**, His Father In Law Mr. Luis Flores, Paternal Grandparents Guadalupe and Agripina Sanchez, Maternal Grandparents Pedro and Maria Elena Puente, Aunt, María Lopez and Uncle Rogelio Puente whom he now joins in eternal rest.

Though Ricky's passing leaves an immeasurable emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, his life will forever be celebrated through the memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the love he left behind. His earthly journey may have come to an end, but the impact of his life will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
