Pharr - Rita Ramirez, 91, went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2019 at her residence in Pharr.

She is survived by her loving children Margarita Garza Ramirez, Hermelinda Garza Ramirez, Elisa G. Casas, Guadalupe Garza Ramirez and Teodoro Garza Ramirez; 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Funeraria Del Angel, Chapel of Serenity in Mission from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 7, 2019 at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Alton. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
