He is survived by his loving wife Maria Angelica Lopez; his children Rito Lopez(Cherish) and Lisa Marie Lewis(Zachary); and by his grandson Nathaniel De La Garza. He is also survived by siblings Antonio Sanchez, Acension Sanchez, Ramon Sanchez, Rosa Sanchez, Leticia Sanchez, Maricela Ocanas, Jose Angel Ocanas, Abel Ocanas, Jesus Alejandro Ocanas, Daniel Sanchez, Sandra Sanchez, Oscar Sanchez and Nicolas Sanchez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel, Chapel of Remembrance in Mission from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McAllen at 9:15 am. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Military Honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 8788 of McAllen.
