

Robert R Rodriguez passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, at the age of 76. Born in Harlingen, Texas, to the late Robert Rodriguez Sr. and Maria Rodriguez, Robert lived a full and meaningful life rooted in family, service, and love.
A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Robert served honorably in the 101st Airborne Division. His patriotism ran deep, and he held a profound love for his country—surpassed only by the love he had for his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Deyanira J. Rodriguez; his children, Robert J. Rodriguez III, Andres J. Rodriguez, and Daniela J. Rodriguez; and his cherished dog, Chula. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents and his loyal dog, Ximena.
Robert was a man of simple joys and strong values. A hardworking self-made man who started his own business that supported his family for 33 years. He found happiness in the garden, delight in cooking (especially his famous meatloaf, salsas and carne asada), and fulfillment in spending time with his family and friends. He loved traveling and taking road trips with his family, and he treasured having a meal out with her and close friends. His warmth, humor, and unwavering loyalty made him a constant source of comfort and strength to those who knew him.
Robert’s legacy lives on in the memories he created and the love he gave so generously. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
