Roberto “Bobby” J. Garcia Sr., was called to be with the Lord on Monday, July 5th 2021. He was born to Jose and Marcolfa Garcia and lived in McAllen, TX most of his life. He was devoted to his family and God. We are profoundly saddened by his death and he will be greatly missed by all of us.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Marcolfa Garcia.
Roberto is survived by his 5 children, Pablo M. Garcia, Celina (Sam) Zumwalt, Roberto (Sandy) J. Garcia Jr., Matthew (Danielle) Garcia, Gabriella (Isaac) Garcia; his four brothers, Jose Garcia Jr., Eraclio Garcia, Efrain (Sylvia) Garcia, Paul (Mary) Garcia; three sisters, Diana (Ron) Shaw, Maria Hermilia Zarate, Gloria Garcia Medina; and his 5 grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel, with the Rosary at 7:00 pm.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2:00 pm, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2201 Martin Ave, McAllen, TX 78504, with the burial to follow at 3:15 pm at Valley Memorial Gardens.
