She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Lilia Rodriguez and 2 siblings. She is survived by her husband, Joaquin Cantu, her daughters, Cristina Jimenez, Patricia Montemayor (Leroy Montemayor), Rosemary Gandy (Justin Gandy), and 7 grandkids.
Rosalinda, a teacher for 35 years, was always fully dedicated to the success of her students earning her a teacher of the year award at 2 different campuses. She was also involved in the Catholic Church volunteering her time to teach young children.
Known for her kindness and generosity, Rosalinda will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Rosalinda's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
We rejoice now that she has been reunited with her parents and siblings.
To honor Rosalinda Rodriguez Cantu’s journey as a breast cancer survivor, family and friends are asked to wear pink on Thursday, January 29, 2026 to the visitation.
