

Sagrario G. Perez, born in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Francisco Gonzalez and Blanca de la Garza, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, devotion, perseverance, and unconditional love.
Sagrario was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was united in marriage to Jose L. Perez on May 28, 1956, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas.
She is survived by her daughters, Oralia Perez Cantu, Barbara P. Perez, Laura M. McNulty (Mike), Jo Ann Perez Baiz (Sergio), and Sandy Liza Andaverde (Mario). The family's sons-in-law also include Arturo R. Cantu and Gilbert Salinas.
She was the proud grandmother of Sarah Salinas Lorenzo (George), Alina O. Vera (Donato Jr.), Daniel M. Salinas (Adrienne), Frank Cassidy (Emma), David R. Cantu, Sergio Romeo Baiz, Linda McNulty Perez (Payam), Felicia M. Pina (Juan), and Alicia M. McNulty. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, the light of her life, Judge Oscar de la Fuente.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Blanca Garcia; her brother, Antonio Flores; her husband, Jose L. Perez; and her daughter, Virginia Van Domselaar.
Her cherished great-grandchildren include Donato Joseph Vera, Dante Reymundo Vera, Amelia Rose Vera, Max Cassidy, Marcos Salinas, and Elianora Salinas.
Sagrario found joy in life's simple blessings. She loved fishing with her husband, sharing morning coffee with him on the patio, and watching the birds that visited their home. Family was the center of her world, and she was especially passionate about her children's education, encouraging each of them to pursue higher learning and earn their degrees.
A dedicated community volunteer, Sagrario served as a Girl Scout leader and a kickball coach, touching the lives of many young people through her guidance, encouragement, and example. Her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. She faithfully attended Mass every Sunday with her family and held a deep devotion to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Her strong faith, kindness, and steadfast spirit inspired everyone who knew her.
Sagrario will be remembered for her unwavering belief in the potential of others and for the words she often shared with her children and grandchildren:
"If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.”
Her love, wisdom, faith, and strength will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
May she rest in eternal peace.
