Socorro O. Lozano, 95, went to be with our Lord on Monday, March 3, 2014 at her residence in McAllen. She was born on April 25, 1918 to Arnulfo Oviedo and Antonia Morin. She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnulfo and Antonia Oviedo and husband, Melchor Lozano. She is survived by her loving children, Hector Lozano, Melchor Lozano, Jr., Adrian Lozano, Marco A. Lozano, Ernestina Lozano, Luis Lozano and Thelma Lozano. She is also survived by her 26 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and siblings, Maria Oviedo, Matilde Oviedo and Juan Oviedo. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed. Family will receive friends today, Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 3-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission. Funeral service will be Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission. Interment will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria Del Angel in Mission, a dignity memorial provider.
