Socorro was born on June 3, 1942 in Monterrey Mexico to parents Felipe and Rebecca Garza. She grew up in McAllen TX and was the proud owner of Tender Care Daycare for 25 years.
Socorro is preceded in death by both her parents; her spouse, Gregorio Medina; siblings, Maria Luisa Cabrera, Felipa Benavides, Arminda Garza, Mario Garza & Alvino Garza.
Socorro is survived by her brother Benino Garza (Arminda); three daughters, Margaret Medina Olivarez (T.J) Sonia Medina Rangel (Chris) Rebecca Medina Vallejo (Alex); grandchildren, Christopher Rangel, Andrew Rangel (Audrey) Amanda Rangel , Tyler Vallejo, Justice Vallejo, Preston Vallejo, Jaire Olivarez & three great grandchildren, Mallory Rangel, Ava Rangel, Abram Rangel.
The family would like to thank caregiver Gracie Salina’s for all she did.
A service will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel - Mission.
