Ventura Benny Gonzalez

He is preceded in death by his grandson, Ricky Gomez; and his siblings Pedro, Francisca, Gilberto, Carmen, Gloria, Marcelino, and Modesto.

Ventura is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Juanita Figueroa; his children, Benny (Jenny) Gonzalez, Samantha Gonzalez, Sonia (Angel) Gonzalez, Maritza Gonzalez, Arturo (Aurea) Gonzalez, Efrain (Rosalva) Guzman, Walter Gonzalez, and Arnold Gonzalez; siblings, Alejandrina "Anita," Angelina, and Cecilia; 11 grandchildren (with one on the way), 11 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.

Ventura was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend who valued responsibility and hard work. He was always the first to lend a helping hand, asking for nothing in return. His humor and positivity left an impression on everyone he met. Ventura was also a proud US Army Veteran and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel of Remembrance and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel of Remembrance.

Funeral arrangements are under direction of Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 Taylor Road, Mission, TX 78573.
