She was preceded in death by her parents Genovevo and Victoria R. Vargas; and her brothers Rafael Vargas and Rogelio Vargas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Leonel A. Menchaca; her children, Leonel (Angie) Menchaca Jr, Lucas (Jamie) Menchaca, Viola (Enedelio) Guerra and Luis Menchaca; and grandchildren Lucas Menchaca Jr., Victor A. Menchaca, Thalia L. Menchaca and Emiliano Guerra; and her loving dogs.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 8 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Funeral Del Angel in Mission, Texas. There will also be a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Another service will be held on Wednesday, March 9 at 12 p.m. at the same location. The burial will follow at the Valley Memorial Gardens under the direction of Funeral Del Angel of Mission, Texas.
