Virginia Heyser passed away peacefully with her loving children by her side, May 2, 2020 in her McAllen home, she was 89. Virginia was born April 5, 1931 to John B. & Mary K. Lackey in Houston, Texas. College Station, Texas was her home for most of her life, where she raised her family, spent time gardening, reading and enjoying music and dance. Virginia had an early career as a ballroom dance instructor and enjoyed dancing and teaching her entire life. She attended Mass at both St. Joseph's and St. Mary's.
Virginia, or Ginger, to many who loved her, is survived by sisters: Louise Abshire, Billie Bradford, and Katherine Hill, children: George Heyser Jr., Alice Heyser Koroski, Julia Heyser Anderson, Phillip Heyser, and David Heyser, grandchildren: Melissa Lombardi and husband Ernest, Paul Koroski Jr., Elizabeth Koroski, Sarah Anderson, Bethany Anderson, and Brandon Heyser.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at Funeraria del Angel in Mission. Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 pm at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel of Mission
