Alice was born in Orange, California on June 22, 1930. She was married to Abner Rios on November 30, 1957. She had 4 children: Debbie, Elizabeth, Yvonne, and Hubert. She also had 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was a beloved children’s librarian for many years at the Newhope Branch Library from 1976 till 1995 and again at the Oceanside Public Library from 1997 till 2002. In 1986 she was awarded LULAC's Women of the Year award for Hispanic women.
She will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life for Alice will be held Saturday, July 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Sea Country Senior & Community Center, 24602 Aliso Creek Rd, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677. Following the Celebration of Life will be a Graveside Committal from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at El Toro Memorial Park, 25751 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA 92630.
