Angela was born, the oldest of three sisters, in Preusich Friedland. She went on to become a dental assistant, working in the military clinic in Berlin, Germany. It was there that she met her husband , Sr. MSGT Max Handy. The couple was married in 1962 and shortly thereafter Angela gave birth to their only child, Nicolet.
After many years traveling between the US and Germany, Angela and her family settled in southern CA. At this time Angela pursued a career in retail sales while also raising her daughter and managing a household.
Most recently Angela's family celebrated with her for her 101st birthday. She was surrounded by her grand and great grandchildren as well as family friends.
Angela leaves behind her husband Max, of 63 years, her daughter Nicolet as well as three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A celebration of Angela's life will be held upcoming and family and friends will be notified separately.
