Barbara Ann Lambert

Barbara Ann Lambert, beloved wife to Mark Lambert and mother to Nancy Lambert-Campbell and Jeffrey Lambert, of Mission Viejo, CA, passed away peacefully at home from lung cancer, on February 4, 2025, leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Barbara Lambert born in Los Angeles in 1942 to Frank and Regina Berardo, who then moved to Downey in her early childhood. Barbara attended Pius the X Catholic High School before studying accounting. She then worked as an accountant for the Los Angeles County Department of Social Services, was an accountant for her husband’s real estate business, and then a manager of the fine jewelry department at Mervyn’s department store. While she worked at Mervyn’s, she developed a hobby of collecting jewelry for herself.

Barbara Lambert was a devoted mother to Nancy and Jeffrey, her pride and joy. She was also a wonderful wife. Her husband and children all felt the love and support she provided. Barbara took special joy in being a stay at home mom for 14 years and had fond memories of trying different restaurants (particularly ones from her Italian heritage) with her husband, walking Laguna Beach with her family, and taking her daughter on weekly shopping trips to the mall. She was also a devout Catholic who ensured that her faith was instilled in her children.

Barbara is survived by Mark Lambert (husband), Jeffrey (son), Nancy (daughter), Otis Campbell (son-in-law), Aliyah and Candace Campbell (granddaughters), and Carolyn Berardo (sister) and Michele Quam (sister-in-law), and dog Missie, and many extended family members and friends who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Monday, February 17, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Fairhaven Memorial Services, 27856 Center Drive, Mission Viejo, CA 92692. A funeral mass will occur Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Saint Kilian Church, 26872 Estanciero Dr, Mission Viejo, CA 92691. A luncheon will occur Tuesday, February 18, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Saint Kilian Church, 26872 Estanciero Dr, Mission Viejo, CA 92691. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ascension Cemetery, 24754 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA 92630.

If you plan to attend the services, the family asks that you wear colorful attire and/or floral prints, as Barbara loved fashion and did not like the color black. Donations may be made to Nagourney Cancer Institute in lieu of flowers.
