Bruce was born on July 26th, 1949 to Larry and Geraldine Fawcett in Los Angeles, California. After Bruce graduated from San Gabriel High School he was inducted into the United States Army. He served as an infantryman with the 1st Air Cavalry in the Republic of Vietnam from 1969-1970, and was honorably discharged at the rank Sergeant.
After his military service, he went on to start a career in commercial and transportation insurance. He was an accomplished insurance agent, who gave 42 years of service to his craft. He was also very involved in community outreach with the Young Marine Program, and worked tirelessly to mentor at risk youth.
In 1980, Bruce and Karin Endersbe were married. Bruce and Karin shared 42 years of, as they loved to joke… “wedded bliss…most of the time” with one another. Bruce brought his eldest son, Eric Fawcett into their marriage, and the couple went on to have two children, Aaron Fawcett and Nicole Phillips.
Bruce had an unforgettable laugh and an ability to make those he knew smile. He had a keen ability to tell stories, which was accompanied by a sharp wit that never failed him. He formed many deep and lasting friendships, enjoyed deep sea fishing, and loved watching cartoons with his grandson Gavin, whom he was incredibly proud of.
He is survived by his wife Karin, his sister Lauren, his children Eric, Aaron, and Nicole; and his grandson Gavin.
