

Upon completion of his service he attended the University of Michigan where he received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering.
After college he got married and moved to Southern California where he started his engineering career with Hughes Aircraft. At Hughes, he applied his analytical skills to develop the first state of the art computers in the late 60's.
Later, pursuing his love of investments, he got his real estate license, sold land and became a broker for a precious metal firm called Monex International. There he became the top sales person during the gold boom in the 70's.
Chuck was an avid pilot, investor and entrepreneur. He owned a high performance aircraft, a Myers/Aero Commander 200. He also organized and became the president of the Meyers Aircraft Association, holding fly-ins all across the U.S.
His love of flying led him to join the Western States Air Sheriff Squadron as an Air Sheriff Reservist, where he served for 10 years.
Chuck was the founder and principal of several businesses including Avicon Development Corporation, which developed aircraft instrumentation and Mobile Mechanix/Advanced Motor Services, a parts warehouse and mobile service that came to your home or office to service your vehicle.
As a young child, Chuck loved learning and performing magic. He fulfilled a life long dream when he got the opportunity to perform at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, where he became a life long member.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Lucy (Reed) of 62 years and sons, Steven and Michael. He will be missed dearly.
