Christopher was born on December 31, 1982 at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, CA. His parents were Ronn and Linda Wild. Christopher was raised in Laguna Niguel, CA. Always able to express himself well, Christopher possessed strong interpersonal skills. He was optimistic in his outlook on life and loved spending time with his family.

Blessed with a balanced attitude, Christopher was able to relate well with others. Christopher was raised with two siblings. He had two older sisters, Bonnie and Michelle. Christopher had a strong desire to be treated fairly and would readily offer others the same fairness in return.

As a young child, Christopher showed his creative ability in many ways. He was outgoing and animated. Christopher enjoyed new activities and pursued a variety of interests. He took part in baseball, basketball, and surfing. He was a junior lifeguard. In his spare time he liked Lego's, baseball cards, bike riding, skateboarding and swimming. Christopher's memorable achievements included honor roll, pinewood derby, excellence in math, and perfect attendance.

His curious nature was spurred by his ability to maximize his personal learning style through employing a hands-on approach. He was good with facts and had an excellent memory. He graduated from Dana Hills High School in 2001. He enjoyed some courses more than others, having favorite classes and teachers. His favorite class in high school was wood shop.

When the goal of college was in sight, it became important to Christopher. Again, his direct, “down to earth” approach served him well. He was able to absorb complex concepts and had an acute sense of how things worked. His favorite courses were horticulture and auto shop.

Christopher was uncomplicated and straightforward in his relationships, which allowed him to accept people for what they were. While growing up, some of his best friends were Dusty, Landon, and Ashley. Later in life, he became friends with Jeff, Aaron, Jake, and Mark.

Christopher enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. He had something of an artistic flair in many of the things that he did. He put this creativity toward all of his pastimes. His favorite pursuits were mountain biking, hiking, gardening, building models, crossword puzzles and reading. He was content to enjoy his hobbies alone but was also willing to share his interests with others.

Because he liked to take risks, Christopher was a perfect match for athletics and exercise. He was enthusiastic and confident about these activities. Recreational sports included bike riding, hiking and fishing.

Christopher held close traditional values and as a result, faith was important to him. He was a member Calvary Chapel in Capo Beach.

Travel and vacations were experiences that Christopher truly enjoyed. He preferred to seek out excitement wherever he went and he was partial to vacations that were casual and laid back with an atmosphere of “live and let live.” He was willing to leave his plans open and flexible, just in case something more interesting came along. Favorite vacations included Hawaii and Alaska.

Christopher was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of Christopher’s favorites was Conrad, a Rottweiler dog. They were best friends for 8 years.

Christopher passed away on June 1, 2019 at Santa Ana, California. He is survived by his parents Linda and Ronn Wild, his sisters Bonnie and Michelle, his nieces and nephew, Samantha, Amanda, Austin and Kena, and brother in laws, Craig and Joel. Services were held at Fairhaven Memorial Services. Christopher will be laid to rest at sea.

Even though it has been many years since I have seen Christopher I can recall good memories of my time in his presence. Life gets busy and we all go in different directions. However the good memories will always be with us. May the Lord bring peace to your family at this difficult time as Christopher is resting in His arms.

Chris,
I remember being so little and I was so exited to play with you . I looked up
To you and was excited to see my uncle Chris . Chris I miss you so much. You were a big part of me growing up. Every time I went to visit you and grandma and grandpa you always told me how good I looked and how proud you were of me being in the army . Thanks for being a part of who I am today . I want you to know I have adored you my whole life and I’m happy to know you found the peace you have been looking for a long time . May god be with you . I love you uncle Chris .

My Little Brother

I remember when dad called grandma when you were born so we could come see you.
I remember when you first came home from the hospital I was mesmerized by you.
I remember when you were a baby I would think how perfect you were.
I remember when you crawled out the door of our apartment and rolled down the stairs and how scary that was.
I remember your white hair and beautiful blue eyes and freckles thinking you were the cutest ever.
I remember you being full of life and excitement and very rowdy.
I remember how you just wanted to be outside playing and running around with tons of energy.
I remember watching movies together, and one time letting you watch a scary one and mom wasn’t happy about it.
I remember building all your LEGO models.
I remember taking you to the park after school to give mom a break and wear you out. (Everyday)
I remember you always wanting to hang out with my friends and I and not taking no for an answer.
I remember you never letting me talk on the phone without harassing me to play.
I remember always taking care of you.
I remember when I met Joel you wanted to dress just like him so we took you shopping.
I remember our special bond that we had growing up.
I remember loving you unconditionally from the moment I set eyes on you.
I love that you never gave up on yourself or your family.
I love that we had you in our lives for the time that we had you.
I love you more than you’ll ever know and you’ll always have a special place in my heart and I will miss you everyday.❤️

I always looked forward to the summers when my cousin Christopher and family would come and visit. Christopher was somebody I always looked up to and there was never a lack of excitement when he was around. One of my favorite memories is us sneaking off to the minimart down the road from our Grandma's house to get suckers and hiding behind the house and eating them. We did this a few times and it never got old. It was always a thrill being around him. Once, he took me camping with him at our family reunion only to leave at night and return 10 minutes later making bear sounds and scratching on the tent. I was terrified. Luckily, Christopher came back and scared the bear off upon his return. He was the coolest person I have ever known.

My sister and I were very blessed to have our brother Christopher in our lives. My fondest memories were as a child taking care of him. He was the cutest baby, with his big blue eyes, white hair and freckles. Being 10 years older and my sister 8 years older, I would say we tried to be his mini mom's. He loved spending time with his family and playing outdoors. Rest in peace baby brother. We love and miss you every moment of every day.

Christopher was a sweet kid. When he was little he would get this devilish, mischievous grin on his face and it made you wonder what he was up to.
