I was shocked of the passing of my high school friend. Donald was a wrestler at Adams and I was at Washington we were rivals but good friends. I would go to his parents home like I live there. A couple years ago I saw his best friend Al Freeman and asked about him he indicated he’s was doing great. I can’t believe it.
So long my friend!

This has been a very hard week for me saying good bye to someone whom I called a brother instead of a friend this man changed my life in so many ways we met at a very young age 11 then reconnected at 13 the lifestyle that he led at that time was so much different than mine yet I knew that’s where I needed to be, so many memories. Although our lives changed as we got older our friendship never changed the distance may have been miles apart but we knew we were together . It’s time for me to let you be Duke#1my friend I ‘ll miss you forever my brother from another mother keep watching over me love you always

My condolences to Shelly the children and the entire Price family. Donald was a dear and precious friend to me , I know that all of you must be Godly proud and deeply saddened at his passing. Donald was a good friend and all around great individual. A Godly man whom i am blessed to have had a lifelong association with since kindergarten at Linden elementary school. We kept each other encouraged in the Lord and I will sorely miss him. Donald ( dixon ) thats what we called each other. Donald has ran his course, he fought a good fight, now the Lord has called him home to reward and I'm ok with that. Now I exhort you family and friends to be encouraged, keep the faith, for our work is not yet done . to Donald, save me a seat.
Your friend,
Rex Husband

I met Dr. Price at Men's Group in Free Chapel Irvine. He found out that I was a brand new teacher at a private Christian School. For 2 years he mentored me and guided me. I wouldn't be as good as a teacher if it wasn't for the wisdom he passed on to me. He was always looking to encourage me and I really need it since I struggled in my early years as a teacher. I will always appreciate those moments with him and I know that he has run his race well.

Praying for the Price family as they celebrate the life of their dearly beloved. During my times spent with the family at their gatherings in South Bend, I had the opportunity to have many conversations with Donald; he truly had a way of inspiring others.

As he Rest In Peace, I pray his memories continue to bring the family peace and joy as he lived on in them.

Stay blessed...

God has called another angel home. You have fought a good fight now it’s time
to go home. God tucked you in his bosom and carried you away.
Although no words can make your loss easier to bear, the members of the South Bend, Indiana Eastside Reunion Planning Committee extends heartfelt sympathies.
We say to the family, be strong and of good courage, and may your hearts be comforted because the Lord said, in Josh. 1:5, “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee”.

I met Mr. Price during a trip to L.A. to visit his friend daughter, Bree. From the moment I met him, Mr. Price made me laugh and feel like a member of the family. He took me to my first Lakers game and showed me an amazing time in L.A. You were guaranteed a laugh when in his presence. But most importantly, you were guaranteed to feel love.

I send my sincerest love and condolences to the entire Price family. Words can’t take the pain away but I pray that you all find comfort in the blessing Mr.Price left on the world and on everyone that interacted with him. Sending love and comfort - Leah W.
