

Edward Kenna was born in Chicago on September 18, 1934 to Edward and Valeria (Egan) Kenna. He was their first child, and has a younger sister Patricia.
In 1956, he married Patricia Wunderlich. In 1960, Ed and Patricia moved to Elk Grove Village, IL, and in 1961 they welcomed a daughter, Kathleen. While living in Elk Grove Village, Ed was a member of the Village Board, serving for ten years as a Village Trustee, and also serving as a member of the Zoning Commission for his hometown.In 1974, he married Rosemarie, and became a loving father to her six children: Richard, Cheryl, Jeffrey, Denise, Gary, and Nancy.
Ed and Rosemarie moved from Elk Grove to Mission Viejo in 1981 after a job transfer. Eventually, most of their children followed and five of them reside in Southern California.
While living in Mission Viejo, Ed continued to serve his community by being a member of the board of Directors of Vocational Visions where his daughter Nancy works. He also was active at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Mission Viejo serving on the Bereavement Ministry and also assisting with weekday masses.
Most of his adult life Ed worked in sales, finally finishing out his career working for a company selling drafting equipment and blueprint filing equipment, where he retired after many years of service.
Ed enjoyed sharing stories of growing up in Chicago, watching Jeopardy, doing crossword puzzles, attending church at St. Kilian, and spending time with friends and family.
Ed was preceded in death by his wife Rosemarie (LeBeau), and is survived by his sister Patricia, and his seven children: Kathy Kenna (Mike Barrio), Rick (Marilyn) Lange, Cheryl (Wayne) Wentz, Jeff (Sally) Lange, Denise (Larry) Kuhn, Gary (Lanell) Lange, and Nancy Lange. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
