Genaro Hernandez Cervantes

Genaro H Cervantes (Jay), Age 60, born August 12th, 1965, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on July 18th, 2026 at 11:38pm. He is survived by his wife, Yvette and his five children, Brandon, Brit, Brooke, Brianna and Brigette. He is son to Genaro Sr and Rosario Cervantes, alongside his siblings John, Richard, Giselle, Jesus, and Jorge. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico and came to Los Angeles, California in 1969 where he lived and met his wife in 1988.

He worked as an electronic technician, and was previously a devoted stay at home father. Jay had many hobbies such as electronics, music, and cars. He enjoyed watching alien conspiracies, cryptid shows, and ghost stories. Jay loved to tell jokes and play pranks on people to help liven the room.

Family and friends are invited to Jay's celebration of life at Fairhaven Memorial Services on August 22nd, at 4pm.
