Upon graduation from Lawrence Central High School, he continued his education at Indiana University earning a degree in Zoology. He later studied biology at the University of Dayton and Environmental Civil Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona.
After college Greg joined the United States Peace Corp, spending three years in Cameroun and Zaire, Africa where he trained fishery agents and managed fish breeding stations.
He then traveled extensively, including a two month stay in Israel where he worked as a fisherman on the Sea of Galilee. His love of travel and the west coast brought him to California where he married, had his children Justin and Camille, and continued his environmental career in commercial wastewater compliance for Los Angeles County.
Greg’s favorite activities were swimming, biking, snow skiing, camping, reading and just being outdoors. He competed in Rough Water Ocean Swims along the California coast for 20 years, enjoyed soccer with Justin and Camille and loved his birth state of Indiana.
Above all was his passion for prayer and reading God’s word.
In 2007 God joined Greg and Brenda in marriage, fulfilling their desire for a God-honoring spouse. They served the Lord joyfully, traveled, and shared the love of outdoor activities.
